Join us for this year's New Lawyers Leadership Conference! The conference is for up-and-coming legal professionals looking to take their careers to the next level. This conference brings together fresh perspectives on law, leadership, diversity, and service, with the goal to inspire and empower law students, attorneys, and legal professionals in the early years of practice. The conference also features opportunities to network and engage with bar leadership and other MSBA members. Whether you're a big law, small firm, solo, or corporate practitioner, in either the public or private sector, this is a unique opportunity to learn from and engage with the Minnesota legal community.

CLE Session 3 | The Power & Responsibility of Pro Bono
Pro Bono Publico is an important part of the legal profession and a responsibility of all lawyers recognized by Minnesota's Rules of Professional Conduct. New lawyers may feel overwhelmed providing pro bono services in new areas of law or by time commitments that conflict with the unpredictable work schedules of early-career associates. Panelists will address barriers to providing pro bono services that new lawyers may encounter as well as discuss the benefits of pro bono work both to the community and to attorneys themselves. Panelists will share pro bono opportunities with varying time commitments, the training and resources provided, and the impact volunteers will make. Panelists will include representatives from Children’s Law Center of Minnesota, the Pro Se Project, Tubman, Volunteer Lawyers Network, and the Lawyers Professional Responsibility Board.

CLE Session 4 | Understanding Neurodiversity
Understanding Neurodiversity is a workshop that will provide an overview of the different types of neurodivergence, dispel common misconceptions and highlight the strengths of neurodivergent people. The discussion will also cover basic clinical information related to neurodiversity complete with community resources.
