Board of Governors

The Board of Governors serves as the board of directors of the Minnesota State Bar Association. In that role, the Board of Governors implements the policies of the Assembly and oversees management of the MSBA.

The Assembly formulates the policy positions of the MSBA. Its specific functions include: governance, legislative activities, policy, and elections/appointments.

Sections offer Continuing Legal Education programs, legislative involvement and updates, newsletters and publications providing members with up to the minute developments in their specific practice areas.

Committees help develop, implement, and oversee MSBA goals and programming. Committees are comprised of volunteer MSBA members, appointed by the MSBA president.

MSBA staff support the membership and the mission of the association.
