Who We Are | Our Mission

The Bankruptcy Section promotes interaction and education among practitioners of debtor/creditor law, bankruptcy judges, and the public through regular meetings, educational programs, a mentoring program, and pro bono services.

What We Do | Section Benefits and Activities

  • Monthly section meeting and CLEs with reduced registration fees for members;
  • Annual Bankruptcy Institute each Fall (in conjunction with Minnesota CLE);
  • Quarterly Bankruptcy Bulletins;
  • Annual Pro Bono CLE and Reception;
  • Annual Holiday Reception;
  • Presentation of the annual Raeder Larson Award and Nancy Dreher Lifetime Achievement Award;
  • Leadership opportunities on the Section Council, Pro Bono Committee, and Consumer Committee;
  • Section-only online community (listserv) for discussion of relevant topics with experienced colleagues.
