The Bankruptcy Section promotes interaction and education among practitioners of debtor/creditor law, bankruptcy judges, and the public through regular meetings, educational programs, a mentoring program, and pro bono services.
What We Do | Section Benefits and Activities
- Monthly section meeting and CLEs with reduced registration fees for members;
- Annual Bankruptcy Institute each Fall (in conjunction with Minnesota CLE);
- Quarterly Bankruptcy Bulletins;
- Annual Pro Bono CLE and Reception;
- Annual Holiday Reception;
- Presentation of the annual Raeder Larson Award and Nancy Dreher Lifetime Achievement Award;
- Leadership opportunities on the Section Council, Pro Bono Committee, and Consumer Committee;
- Section-only online community (listserv) for discussion of relevant topics with experienced colleagues.
