Who We Are | Our Mission
The Solo and Small Practice Experience Section has been created to enhance the practice management, marketing and other lawyering skills of solo practitioners or lawyers in small firms. Our section provides a space where members may share their wide breadth of experience to improve their own practice, educate themselves and their fellow practitioners, improve the legal profession, and benefit the general public.
What We Do | Section Benefits and Activities

- Gain additional CLE’s through 9+ low cost or free programs per bar year
- Attend the Solo Small Firm Summit
- Learn how to better market yourself and your firm
- Build your referral network within a large and active MSBA section
- Pass on your knowledge of solo and small firm practice to entrepreneurial law students, new lawyers and new solo practitioners
- Join virtual roundtables on relevant topics for solo/small firm attorneys
- Weigh in on issues of concern for solos and small firms in Minnesota
- Influence the MSBA’s position for relevant legislation affecting solo and small firms
