This
event has been postponed. We are hoping to reschedule this event for fall
2020.
As new lawyers and recent law school graduates, we recognized and
appreciate how difficult it was at times to
find a space or a person who we could
go to and ask questions about what this whole “practice of law”
thing was about and how best to navigate it. This is why the
MSBA New Lawyer Section is hosting the Sink or Swim Happy
Hour.
We
felt it was important
to offer a space in a relaxed atmosphere to cover topics of interest for new
lawyers (0-3 years), graduating, or soon to be graduating, law students, such as
approaching the job search, avoiding first job missteps, seeking out training,
identifying your style of networking, managing the work/life balance, presenting
yourself to partners, overcoming the feeling of inadequacy, and much
more.
Please
join us on March 24th at 5:00 PM at Town Hall Brewery near the
University of Minnesota Law School. Food/beverages will be provided, and socializing will
follow!

This event is FREE for all attendees.
