Job protections and
leave requirements under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights

Medical Leave Act can be confusing for employers and employees who are serving
in the active Armed Forces, Guard, or Reserve.
In honor of Veteran's
Day, please join us on November 13 to hear from Attorney
and ESGR Ombudsman Mathew Meyer speak on state and federal
legal requirements for military leave and provide tips for compliance. Attorney
Charles Horowitz, who has represented numerous individuals in Veteran’s
Preference Act hearings, including one case that went to the Minnesota Supreme
Court, will also discuss the protections and procedures under that provision, as
well as a few strategic tips for attorneys representing clients in this area.
