We offer a free initial telephone consultation to analyze your legal situation and determine if we can provide services and a strategy to assist you. At times, the initial phone consultation may result in us helping you to provide social service programs that would best fit your needs - a solution that does not require legal representation. The phone consultation may also result in me advising you that retaining an attorney might be a good solution for you. During the consultation, I will discuss your financial situation and provide you with a sliding scale fee hourly rate and retainer amount if you choose to use Cooper Law, LLC.

She practiced in the area of civil litigation and family law while an associate at a major law firm in Ohio. She spent five years working in the corporate world as in-house counsel for a multi-billion dollar corporation, focusing on contract negotiations and drafting. As Executive Director of the Minnesota Volunteer Attorney Program, she worked to encourage and recruit attorneys to volunteer to provide pro bono representation to low income clients. She also worked for three years as a staff attorney for a legal aid organization where she represented low income, abused and disabled individuals. In 2010, Ms. Cooper was appointed to the Minnesota Supreme Court's Committee for Equality and Justice. Helping clients to achieve their goals in an economical manner and with high quality legal representation is what Ms. Cooper strives for in her cases. Ms Cooper provides sliding-scale fee services so that clients of modest means can have legal representation regardless of economic status. Finally, Ms. Cooper's normal hourly rate is a very reasonable amount so that those who are not low-income but wish to be represented in all aspects of a case will be able to afford her services without facing economic hardship. Ms. Cooper's experience makes her a unique attorney for her clients. She has seen cases from all sides and represented a wide variety of client types. Her practice has included complex litigation issues and trial work as well as alternative dispute resolution and settlement strategy. She brings this knowledge to her case work and focuses on family law and social security disability claims at Cooper Law, LLC.
