The HCBA is a welcoming community of lawyers who advocate for the profession, foster access to justice, and provide members with support at every stage of their careers.  

The HCBA has been proudly serving the legal profession and the community since 1919.

Policies



Public Advocacy Positions


View Policy on Public Advocacy (Adopted by the HCBA Board, November 2018).   
Any member of the HCBA, section, committee, or stakeholder group may propose that the HCBA consider a public advocacy position. A person or entity requesting consideration shall submit to the HCBA Chief Executive Officer the Proposal for Public Advocacy Position Questionnaire. The CEO will subsequently share the request with the HCBA President and Executive Committee to begin the process of board consideration.
