Governor Walz Reappoints the Honorable Susan Segal as Chief Judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals
[ST. PAUL, MN] – Governor Tim Walz today announced his reappointment of the Honorable Susan Segal as Chief Judge of the Minnesota Court of Appeals. In May 2020, the Governor appointed her to fill the remainder of Chief Judge Edward J. Cleary’s term, which ends today, on October 31, 2022. With today’s reappointment, Chief Judge Segal will continue to serve in this important role.
About Chief Judge Segal: The Honorable Susan Segal has served on the Court of Appeals since 2019. She was appointed as Chief Judge in May 2020. Previously, Judge Segal served for twelve years as the Minneapolis City Attorney.
