Annual Meeting and Election Results
The Section’s Annual Meeting was held on May 9, 2020 and 53 people attended via webinar.

Diversity and Inclusion
We continue to discuss inclusion and welcome suggestions from members and other to improve our diversity.
Our CLEs continue to be varied and inclusive for new attorneys and longtime practitioners.
With the meetings being held on Saturdays, greater MN engagement is possible and actively encouraged. We have significant participation of outside metro membership as noted in the make-up of the council and governing council members.
Meetings are held in an accessible space and with other multiple options for participation, including phone and web access.
Other Section Accomplishments
• The Section continues to provide outstanding and important legislative and Amicus work to the Section and the bar as a whole;
• Remains an active Section providing members with a number of networking opportunities and monthly CLE programs;
• Council and section members continue to publish case law updates via the Communities forum;
• Continued partnership with the MinnCLE on the annual Family Law Institute.
