Diversity & Inclusion
The Council set the following diversity and inclusion goals at its annual planning meeting: The Council will be purposeful in evaluating diversity as part of speaker/panel construction for CLEs and will add a new lawyer and/or a law student to the council. Mitchell Hamline law student, Jake Moore, was added to the Section Council in the fall of 2019.

The Council identified Section members outside of the Twin Cities area and personally reached out to those members asking for ways that the Section could better serve them and encouraging them to get involved in Council leadership.

Other Accomplishments
The Section hosted two virtual roundtable discussions and its first virtual annual meeting / social hour for members in response to COVID-19. Participant feedback has been positive, and the Section plans to continue to offer similar programming in the new bar year.
