Program Description:
As lawyers in
service to clients and others, we face adversity, exposure to trauma,
uncertainty, and significant stressors which impact us personally and
professionally, and put us at a higher-than-average risk for developing
substance use and other mental health concerns. The pandemic and other societal
stressors exacerbated and exposed challenges connected with our careers and
personal lives. Ranging from being a new parent to managing end of life issues
for those we care about; we need to learn new tools and strategies. This program
will focus on the challenges we face as lawyers, how they affect us, and what
strategies we can use to reduce the risks to our health and to thrive in all
areas of our lives throughout our
careers.
