This panel of
experts will discuss real estate law as it applies to public attorneys. The
following topics will be covered:
1. Purchase and sale of
property by public entities – Strategies/tips related to real estate
transactions: title work, research/due diligence, negotiations, and PA
drafting.
2. Other real estate tools for public
attorneys: leases, licenses, temporary use agreements, encroachment agreements,
and more.
3. Discussion on prescriptive easements – case
studies.
