Join the MSBA Labor and Employment Law Section at noon on
Tuesday, February 6th at Windows on Minnesota in the IDS Center. Reconnect with
your colleagues at lunch and get the information you need to know about the new
laws impacting Minnesota employers and employees. Join us as experienced
practitioners discuss emerging issues under Minnesota’s New Employment Laws.
This lunchtime program will consist of three brief, targeted presentations on
issues facing employment lawyers in 2024:
1. Jenny Gassman-Pines of Greene Espel, PLLP will
discuss the new Minnesota statewide sick and safe time law;
2. Janet Dorr of Fredrikson & Byron P.A. will discuss the New
Minnesota Paid Family & Medical Leave Act; and
3. Joel Andersen of
Nilan Johnson Lewis, P.A. will discuss the new ban on non-competes.
