On October 11th, the MSBA’s Access to Justice Committee
released its report, Minnesota Consumer Debt Litigation, a Statewide Access to
Justice Report. The report included many data-based findings on consumer debt
litigation in state courts, as well as a series of recommendations for change to
improve the justice system for consumers, creditors, and the courts. Join us as
we dive more deeply into the report, discuss
the findings and
recommendations, and hear from section members about reactions and further ideas for
change.
