Remote Only Event
Minnesota employers faced a myriad of new compliance
challenges following the most recent legislative session. Beginning
January 1, 2024, employers must be prepared to meet new obligations under the
Minnesota Earned Sick and Safe Time (ESST) law. Join us for a discussion
of the key issues to consider when implementing new ESST programs or adapting
existing paid time off programs to meet the requirements of ESST, including how
the new ESST requirements will intersect with Minnesota’s upcoming Paid Family
and Medical leave obligations, which will follow. This program will
provide an overview of the ESST requirements and related rights, address the
practical challenges in implementing these new requirements, and address the
interaction of the ESST requirements with other federal, state, and local
requirements.
