Event Description
This panel will address the new developments in class action law and
practice, centered on recent 8th Circuit and Supreme Court decisions affecting
practitioners. The presenters will summarize recent cases, holdings, and
question presented, and explain how each aligns with previous precedent and
impacts the considerations necessary to navigate this complex procedural area
going forward.

Pacelli | Michael Pacelli is a commerical litigator at Robins Kaplan
whose focuses include fraud, breach of contract, and consumer protection
issues. Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law
Center where he served as a Notes Editor for the Georgetown Law
Journal

Geoffrey
Kozen | Geoffrey Kozen is the chair of Robins Kaplan's Pro Bono
Committee. He focuses his practice on antitrust, class action, and other
complex commercial litigation. He is dedicated to pro bono work, where he
holds a particular interest in representing clients in immigration courts and
advocating for those facing domestic violence.
