Elder Law 101 series seminar will focus on recognizing and proactively planning
for Elder Law issues that often arise as Estate Planning clients age. During the
course of the presentation, we will discuss the following important
considerations:
How to prepare clients
for probate
avoidance;Preparation of legal documents to
provide incapacity planning assistance;
Introduction to Minnesota’s Medical
Assistance Program; andOverview of proactive and crisis
planning strategies to protect assets against long-term-care

Janelle
practices at the St. Paul Estate Planning law firm, Chandler and Brown,
specializing in the areas of Estate and Charitable Planning, Trust and Probate
Administration, and Elder Law. Janelle presents frequently to the Twin Cities
community on Estate, Elder and Charitable Planning. Some of her recent audiences
include legal and financial advisors, nonprofit organizations, and government
agencies, such as the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
