That Is Why They Call It Practicing Law

Event Description

Online registration is closed. If you would like to join, please email Ashley at abollig@mnbars.org

Attorney David Kempston has been practicing law for 25 years. Early on in his practice, he was introduced to the idea of providing clients with superior customer service. Over the years, he learned that providing excellent service means focusing on the client relationship. This focus results in an ethical and effective practice.

Attorney Kempston will share his vision of how to do the ordinary tasks better than everybody else. By doing so, the client becomes the focus-resulting in improved representation. Attorney Kempston recognizes no one size fits all. Lawyers differ and possess varying inherent customer service skill sets; however, regardless of the starting point-all can improve their craft if they are willing to learn how to apply principles of great customer service.

Attorney Kempston will use wisdom and humor to outline 22 practical pointers for improving customer service skills. Lawyers will profit from this thoughtful examination of a client-centered approach to the practice of law.
