Event Description
Online registration is
closed, but you can still register by emailing Abby Ward at award@mnbars.org
Join the new
lawyers for a virtual cocktail/mocktail class with the Twin Cities' own Meteor Bar. In our third and
final cocktail class of the year, we are going to learn about the wonders of
botanicals in cocktails, specifically fortified wine and vermouth! Follow along
as we make one of our favorite underappreciated classic cocktails, the Gin and
It*. We will also chat about the history of mocktails and non-alcoholic
ingredients. Afterwards, participants will hear from Lawyers Concerned for
Lawyers on wellbeing and stress management, specifically for new lawyers. We
will discuss new research from the pandemic and how new lawyers can manage
stress, particularly during difficult and challenging times.
*The first 35
registrants will receive a cocktail/mocktail kit. Please note: registrants will
need to pick up their kits from Meteor Bar. Kits will not
be mailed. Up to 16 people can attend the cocktail class in-person at
Meteor Bar if they'd like. Please email Abby Ward at award@mnbars.org if you plan to
attend in-person and
adhere to Minnesota Department of Health guidelines for in-person
gatherings.
