Legal Business as Usual is our bi-weekly legal news
webcast. We log in as early as 7:30. We chat casually about what we're reading
in the legal news until the 'formal' interview begins at 8 am. We typically wrap
between 8:45 and 9 am.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that
the faculty of Mitchell Hamline School of Law commits to helping the law school
to become an antiracist law school...
- Mitchell Hamline Law School
Faculty Resolution (February 17, 2021)
This week, we talk with Dean Niedwiecki and Robin Wolpert about
Mitchell Hamline's pledge to become an anti-racist institution. Should
resolutions like these be required for ABA accreditation? If so, does Mitchell
Hamline's resolution adequately model an actionable, anti-racist
pledge?
