March into Art Month

Event Description

Nearing its one-year anniversary, the pandemic continues to keep us from embracing one another, meaning it is time to embrace the arts! Throughout the month of March, you’re invited to get in touch with your creative side while improving your professional development and networking by joining the new lawyers for the following events. Registration includes access to all four events and a guarantee to meet new people at each event. This event is open to new lawyers and experienced attorneys. Register by clicking the red button and fill out this form to let us know which events you plan to attend.

Schedule of Events:

Tuesday, March 9 | 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Vinyasa FreshFlow | This creative and dynamic vinyasa flow led by a YogaFresh instructor will allow you to move at your own pace to explore breath with movement. Vinyasa FreshFlow is open to ALL LEVELS of students. This uplifting class helps to build strength and create flexibility while meeting each yogi at their own level of practice. Video is optional. If you attend this event you will need to create a free account and fill out this waiver in advance.

Tuesday, March 16 | 5:00 - 6:15 pm

Cooking Class led by Cooks of Crocus Hill Professional Chef | Join in with your colleagues as a professional chef from Cooks of Crocus Hill provides a cooking lesson/demo and answers your questions. Learn something new, make great food, and connect with other practitioners. Recipe and a list of ingredients will be sent to you in advance.

Tuesday, March 23 | 7:00 - 8:00 pm

No Stress Watercolors for EVERYONE | Watercolor is approachable, fun, portable (the perfect dining room table project) and allows for quick creative expression whether you’re holding a paintbrush for the first time or have been painting for years. This one-hour class will cover the basic characteristics of watercolor techniques, once we built some understanding of the materials we'll PLAY. This is a chance to follow our curiosity to create an open-ended project that honors the process of painting rather than the final outcome. Meg Erke , artist and educator, will lead the group. Sign up to receive art supplies by filling out this form (same form as above). Sign up by February 28th to be sent art supplies.

Friday, April 2 | 8:00 - 9:00 pm

Live Concert with Hip Hop Rapper Nur-D | Twin Cities up-and-coming rapper Nur-D will provide a live virtual concert. Nur-D has been doing Hip Hop since Feb. 2018 playing at Soundset and for Paisley Park, First Avenue, and US Bank Stadium. This is a performer and concert you won't want to miss!
