This year has presented us with unexpected turns of events, which has forced many of our clients questioning how they can plan for their future. This program will discuss the topic of estate planning for Non-citizens. Specifically, we will discuss:

     

  • General Concepts for Attorneys who do not practice Estate planning

     

     

  • Why a thorough estate plane is essential in the US

     

     

  • What happens when estate plans are not properly made (or made at all), and how they end up in litigation

     

     

  • What should mixed-status families expect and how they can prepare.
