Program:
This presentation will
cover the great topic importance of our public and environmental health – the
toxic effects of lead ammunition and lead fishing tackle. Speaker Carrol
Henderson will discuss the lead bills introduced during the 2020 MN Legislative
Session, along with some of the federal laws pertaining to this subject, such as
the Endangered Species Act and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. He will
include the legislative progress, or lack thereof, for continuing to advocate or
require nontoxic fishing tackle and hunting ammunition.

Natural Resources' Nongame Wildlife Program
Supervisor from 1977 until his retirement in October of
2018.
