Lunch will be provided. Registration will begin at
11:30 am. The program will begin at 12:00 pm.
The presentation will
cover the common contents of an estate planning file and discuss how proper file
management can reduce risk in the event a file is ever requested via subpoena.
It will then address steps estate planners should take when responding to a
subpoena and discuss issues that arise after a subpoena is served, including
application of the attorney client privilege, applicable ethical rules, and what
to expect in the event of a deposition.
