Event Description
Deadline to Register: Tuesday, December
10,
2019
WEBINAR: REMOTE PARTICIPATION ONLY
About the Presentation:
A Fastcase subscription to 50-state primary materials and
other resources is included in every MSBA membership. Fastcase was founded in
1999 by Ed Walters and Phil Rosenthal to ‘democratize the law.’ Since then, a
lot has changed in the legal research. Artificial Intelligence, visualizations,
and data analytics are all now part and parcel of most legal research tools.
In this session, we’ll examine how Fastcase might be
holding true to its original mission and we’ll demonstrate how to perform
critical research tasks in Fastcase’s latest version 7. In addition to the
basics of search, review, and delivery, we’ll review…
- Efficient re-search and navigation in primary
materials
- Unique Fastcase tools like Forecite and the
Interactive Timeline
- Clio and Mobile Integrations
- Related services Docket Alarm and NextChapter
