Hot Topics in Art and Museum Law

Event Description

Walk-Ins Welcome!

Museums must comply with a myriad of laws regulating virtually every aspect of their organization and operation. While some of these laws apply to businesses in general, some apply to nonprofit charitable organizations of all kinds, and others are unique to museums and their collections. Veteran museum law attorney Walter G. Lehmann, managing partner of Lehmann PLC, will review some of the current issues affecting museums and other cultural organizations. Topics may include recent developments in copyright, anti-trust, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and cultural property law.
