Nicholas primarily focuses on representing lenders in commercial real estate transactions, including drafting and reviewing loan documents, land banking documents, commercial leases, title review, and negotiating disputes with government agencies.
Nicholas received his B.A, from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating first in his class. He went on to earn his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. During law school, Nicholas worked as a senior law clerk for a regional construction law firm, held legal externships at Target Corporation and Regis Corporation, and was a research assistant for Judith T. Younger. Additionally, he served as treasurer of OutLaw, a community for LGBTQIA+ law students at the University of Minnesota Law School, as a representative on the school's Law Council, and as a student mentor for Advocacy in Student Well-Being.
Nicholas is a member of the Minnesota Lavender Bar, and Co-chair of its Strategic Engagement Committee. He is also a member of the National Lavender Bar.
