An Ethical Perspective on Suicide Prevention | Helping Your Clients and Others

The panelists will provide an ethical framework around information on suicide risks, predictors, and options for responding when a client (or colleague) expresses suicidal ideation, or you are concerned they may be considering suicide. This program will help you understand the facts and myths about suicide; recognize signs and indicators for clinical depression, anxiety, and suicide, provide resources and a protocol (QPR - Question, Persuade, Refer) for offering and seeking help to prevent suicide, while discussing ethical obligations and opportunities.
