Edmundo Lijo will discuss Saint Paul's initiatives to benefit the city's immigrant residents, with special focus on the City Attorney's office, and will discuss the importance of prosecutors having an awareness of immigration issues.

Thomas Madison will discuss litigation taken up by the state of Minnesota Attorney General's office to challenge unlawful federal immigration policies, and state consumer protection programs to protect immigrant residents.

Veena Iyer will discuss proposed legislation being considered by the MN Legislature this session, including to benefit crime victims and proposed drivers licenses for undocumented.

Kim Hunter will discuss the impact of state criminal cases on immigration status, including the importance of access to post-conviction relief and considerations around ICE holds and release from state custody.
