The Mobile Law Practice: Finding a middle ground between security and accessibility

The practice of law has changed. The way lawyers work, and when and where, has shifted. Many new tools and services, like Citrix ShareFile, have emerged to meet this growing need. Along with the general requirement of technological competence under Rule 1.1 and the confidentiality requirements of Rule 1.6, some states have issued ethics opinions relating specifically to cloud computing. Some states, like Wisconsin, include factors lawyers must consider when deciding whether to and which cloud systems to employ. Nerino Petro will discuss cloud security and encryption as it pertains to the ever changing practice of law.

This CLE is available online until December 29, 2017.
