This CLE will explore the origins of Minnesota’s 2014 amendments to the custody and parenting time statues, what they mean for new custody actions, existing custody orders, and five important points practitioners need to keep in mind as they assist clients in custody and parenting time matters in light of these new statutory changes and recent opinions from the Minnesota Court of Appeals. Additionally, this program will briefly discuss the changes expected to come in 2015.

The section membership will meet following the CLE at 5:30.
