This
is the program to attend for a complete review of all things health care that
occurred during the 2014 Legislative session and what it all means for you and
your clients. The Health Law Section is very pleased to present three panelists
who have had their fingers on the pulse of the session from the perspective of
health plans and health care providers. Speakers include:

Amberg, in-house counsel for Pediatric Home Service
Thomas
Hanson, Winthrop & Weinstine PA
Jay
McLaren, Director of Government Relations, Medica
The
discussion will include a summary of the hot topics from the 2014 session,
including an analysis of the Health and Human Services budget bill; changes in
provider reimbursement; nursing scope of practice; funding for research; the
fate of legislation to legalize medical marijuana; and many other important
issues.
Lunch
will be provided. Special meal
requests need to be received no later than Tuesday, May
27.

and registration will start at 11:45 a.m.
The section’s annual meeting will start at Noon, followed by the CLE
program from 12:15-1:15 p.m. As
part of the annual meeting, the section will elect new officers and council
members for the 2014-2015 term.
