From Bin Laden to Snowden: Fighting Terrorism in a Networked World

Michael Hurley, former CIA officer and current national security and counterterrorism consultant, will discuss the following topics: a current assessment of the terrorist threat to the United States and our allies; the implications of the disclosures made by Edward Snowden, WikiLeaks and Bradley Manning (Civil disobedience or criminal behavior?); and the NSA surveillance program (is it necessary to and compatible with our democracy?).  Please join us for this interesting and timely discussion of the balance between security, privacy and civil liberties.
