Each year, the Bankruptcy Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association
hosts a reception to recognize the volunteers that performed pro bono service in
the bankruptcy and debtor-creditor area during the past year. The Bankruptcy
Section invites you attend the reception and honor each of these volunteers.
At the Pro Bono Volunteer Reception, the Raeder Larson Public Service Award
is bestowed. The Raeder Larson Award is presented to certain individuals who
have delivered outstanding service through the support and provision of pro bono
legal services in the bankruptcy and debtor-creditor areas. Members of Raeder
Larson’s family plan to attend this event in honor both of Raeder and the
recipients of the award.

Cost:
There is no cost to
attend this reception. At the reception the Bankruptcy Section Pro Bono
Committee will be soliciting donations for the Nancy C. Dreher Fellowship
Program. The fellowship will fund a full-time attorney position for one year to
enhance and expand bankruptcy-related assistance programs for needy Minnesotans.
Please consider making a donation at the event to support Judge Dreher’s legacy
of pro bono work. Checks should be written to VLN. $20.00 suggested
donation.
