The panel will discuss the Chapter 13Trustee’s position and requirements for
debtors who are in a chapter 13 bankruptcy and seek to incur or obtain
post-petition financing for automobiles, mortgages, and other post-petition debt
while their case is pending. The panel will also discuss the purchase and sale
of assets during a chapter 13 case.

Presenters:
Margaret Culp, Staff Counsel to the Chapter 13 Standing
Trustee. Ms. Culp has been a staff counsel to the trustee since
2002. Her prior work experience includes a clerkship for a federal
bankruptcy judge and private practice in southern Minnesota . She is a
frequent speaker at the Bankruptcy Institute and at the National Association of
Chapter 13 Trustees.
Jeffrey Bruzek, Staff Counsel to the Chapter
13 Standing Trustee. Mr. Bruzek is currently staff counsel to the trustee.
Prior to this for over 13 years he represented debtors and creditors in all
facets of bankruptcy and state court proceedings.
Mike Davey, Event Moderator. Mike Davey is a Saint Paul area bankruptcy
attorney and a shareholder in the law firm Full Circle Law. He represents
consumers throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin. He currently serves
as chair of the MSBA's Bankruptcy Consumer Debtor Attorney Subcommittee.
He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy
Attorneys.
