Hear from two criminal law practitioners about how to respond to calls with
criminal law inquiries, before you even refer the caller/client to a criminal
law attorney. What to advise when someone calls with “Do I take the test?” in a
DWI situation, including criminal and civil impacts of different responses. What
to respond when someone calls about being questioned by police, and how to
respond to calls about police searches (house/apartment/office/car), touching on
constitutional protections, search warrants, and consent.
