Description:
Attorneys and practitioners that assist clients with estate
or trust administrations may find this seminar useful to review the basics of
Medical Assistance (Medicaid) Estate Recovery in Minnesota. An
often-forgotten claim, or one that crops ups when people least expect it, MA
Estate Recovery claims and liens need to be accounted for in an administration,
and they require special consideration. Presentation will include the
basics of MA Estate Recovery claims and liens including when a claim or lien may
be made/applied against real property, what assets are subject to a claim for
recovery, and exceptions to a claim.
Registration and lunch will begin at
11:30 am, the CLE program will run from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. Lunch is included in your
registration.
LUNCH: We will provide a
selection of sandwiches. For dietary restrictions or a vegetarian lunch, choose the
appropriate selection on the registration screen.
