Ramsey County Bar Association (RCBA) Announces Results of Poll on Contested Second Judicial District Race 

All 1,882 attorney members of the RCBA were polled regarding the one contested district court race. The RCBA poll was conducted between September 15 and September 30, 2020. 405 members voted, representing 21.5% of the membership.

The purpose of the poll is to collect and make available to the general electorate information, in conjunction with voter guides, candidate questionnaires, news articles, etc., made available by other sources relative to contested judicial elections, which the public may consider when deciding whom they wish to vote for in the general election.  The online poll was voluntary and conducted in a neutral and unbiased manner.  The result of the poll does not constitute an endorsement of any candidate by the RCBA.

Seat 8

  • Ngozi Akubuike, 21.29% (86 votes) of the 405 total votes;
  • Judge Pat Diamond, 78.71% (319 votes).
