The specialty field of Real Property Law is the practice of law in Minnesota dealing with matters relating to real property transactions including but not limited to, real estate conveyances, title searches, leases, condominiums, mortgages, and other liens, property taxes, real estate development, real estate financing, and determination of property rights, all with consideration to related fields of law.
Interested in becoming a MSBA Real Property Law Specialist?
The Real Property Section Communications Committee is sponsoring a free monthly brown-bag lunch study session to prepare for the exam. Each study session will be centered around a topic that may appear on the exam. The study group meets the third Thursday of every month.
The next session is 12-1 PM on Thursday, March 16, at the MSBA. Mark Radke of Felhaber Larson will be moderating the topic of Common Interest Communities (CIC's). Participants will be asked to review the course material relating to each topic in advance of the session.
