Presenter:

Sean Dunn is the Co-Founder and Primary Consultant for Orrery Consulting, an ediscovery consulting firm located in Lowertown, Saint Paul.  Prior to founding Orrery, Sean served as a consultant to Medtronic’s Litigation Department.  Over the course of his 15+ years at Medtronic, Sean built Medtronic’s ediscovery solutions and processes and helped build and manage Medtronic’s eDiscovery Response Team.

Sean provides litigators and law firms involved in litigation-like practices with attorney coaching that helps his clients navigate ediscovery-centric areas of their practice.  Sean helps ensure that his clients or their opponents live up their ediscovery obligations.  Sean also provides assistance with the crafting discovery requests and responses, and with prep and prosecution of 26(f) conferences, 30(b)(6) depositions and like procedural instruments.

Sean also provides strategic ediscovery consulting to corporate/complex clients in need of implementing or improving ediscovery processes/response capabilities.  In addition to managing the implementation or improvement of needed or existing ediscovery processes, Sean serves as a bridge-builder between Legal and IT Departments and helps clients configure their IT systems so as to best and defensibly reduce their downstream ediscovery risks.

Sean received his JD from Hamline University in 1994.
