The Practice Management and Marketing Section supports lawyers and law firms in the practice of law. Being a great lawyer takes even more than subject matter expertise. You won't be doing your clients any favors if you are stressed about money or running the law firm.
The Practice Management and Marketing Section's purpose includes "to inquire into the ways and means of ethical and effective law practice management, law practice marketing and promotion, and to explore how changes in the legal profession, society and technology may affect law practice management and marketing now and in the future."
The Practice Management and Marketing Section promotes the exchange of information and ideas on a variety of topics important to current and future law practice. Activities will include discussions and presentations about issues for which there are no "right" answers, and forums for sharing information about how law is practiced and how law practices can be improved. Programs also will address how attorneys and clients can find each other effectively and develop and maintain good relationships.
