"Beyond the Metro: Life and the Practice of Law in Greater Minnesota and the MSBA Outstate Practice Section Annual Meeting"

Please join the MSBA Outstate Practice Section and the University of St. Thomas School of Law for the Section's Annual Meeting, a panel discussion about outstate practice and a reception.
 
There are more than 850 towns in Minnesota, all of them full of people who need legal services. Come hear about the life of a lawyer in Greater Minnesota from a panel of attorneys who live and practice in towns large and small throughout the state. The experienced attorney panel will address the issues attorneys and law students should consider prior practicing outside the metro area, including:
 
•      The unique challenges and benefits of practicing outside the metro area;
•      The legal work done outside the metro area;
•      The quality of life in outstate Minnesota; and
•      Special leadership opportunities for non-metro attorneys.

Parking Downtown - The 11th Avenue and Harmon Place parking ramp is best ramp to park in.  That ramp is connected to the Law School via Skyway.  The Skyway exit of the 11th and Harmon Ramp is located on the second floor, after exiting the parking ramp the St. Thomas Law is located on the first right.

Cancellation Policy:

Refunds will be processed for cancellation requests received in writing on or before noon on the registration deadline. Requests should be directed to the event contact person listed at the bottom of this notice. Cancellation requests received after this time are not eligible for refunds. You may send a colleague in your place if you are unable to join us and the registration deadline has passed.
