The MSBA's Labor & Employment Law Section Presents the 2011 Annual Mid-Winter Luncheon, featuring:
"Defining Legally-Protected Conduct and Other Hot Topics in Retaliation Claims"
Employee retaliation claims are on the rise, government agencies are vigorously enforcing anti-retaliation protections, and the courts are addressing the parameters for such claims. Join our experienced panel for a discussion of how the increased focus on retaliation claims is affecting employment-related charges and lawsuits. Panelists will provide insight into the anatomy and strategies of retaliation claims from the perspective of employees, employers, and enforcement agencies. Jim Kaster also will share his recent experience arguing a retaliation claim before the United States Supreme Court.
