The MSBA International Section Presents



This presentation will focus on the structuring and regulatory aspects of a U.S. company establishing a manufacturing presence in Mexico. The speakers will discuss choice of Mexican entity and U.S. structure for ownership of the same, tax issues, the Maquila/Immex regime in Mexico, the application for a Maquila/Immex permit, the Maquila Agreement, other manufacturing options, purchasing or leasing real estate in Mexico, import issues, immigration/business visas and practical guidance in establishing a Maquila/Immex program in Mexico.
