The MSBA's Immigration Law Section Presents
"MSBA Immigration Section Assistance for Low Income Minnesotan Immigrants in Need – The Virtual Pro Bono Clinic: Training on I-130s, I-90s, and N-600s"
This CLE is for experienced immigration law practitioners who will be introduced to a new “virtual” pro bono clinic of the MSBA Immigration Law Section. Those who attend this CLE will be asked to join a roster of attorneys available to handle pro bono matters. The presentation will include an overview of clinic processes, background on the need for this specific kind of pro bono availability, how to handle income screening, and how to utilize a law student helper. Presenters will also discuss substantive and procedural details associated with preparing and filing pro bono I-130s, I-90s, and N-600s, including identification of possible complex issues.
