Annual Legislative Preview

Please join your Health Law Section colleagues for our annual discussion of the upcoming legislative session. It’s the first session since 1990 in which one party holds both chambers and the governor’s office, and the focus will be on several health care-related agenda items. Our panelists bring a breadth of experience in government relations, having represented a variety of entities in the health care arena. The discussion will provide an analysis of the likely legislative debate concerning continued movement towards implementation of the Affordable Care Act, establishment of the state health care exchange, the state of MinnesotaCare, and addressing the health care needs of Minnesotan’s with disabilities. This program is the ideal way to kick-off the 2013 session; ensuring you’re well-informed for your clients and your practice.
