The MSBA's Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Section Presents
"Role of Experts in Environmental Litigation"
Experts play an increasing role in complex litigation. Engineers and scientists play an especially important role in litigation concerning environmental matters. Join us for a one hour CLE with a panel of experienced practitioners who will explore the role of experts in environmental matters. The CLE will address: the selection of environmental experts, including whether they are somehow different than other kinds of experts; the use and preparation of expert reports, including the effects of the recent changes to Rule 26 of the Federal Rules for Civil Procedure; the deposition of environmental experts, including preparing and defending your expert, and taking the deposition of an opposing expert; and the use of experts at trial.
