The MSBA's Civil Litigation Section Presents
"E-Discovery in Minnesota: Brace for the Inevitable Because the Future is Now!"
Think that e-discovery is only an issue if you practice in Federal court or in litigation that involves huge corporations with reams of electronic documents? Think again! Learn about the new e-discovery rules proposed by the Minnesota Supreme Court Civil Justice Reform Task Force. Hear from the Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility regarding the ethical duties associated with e-discovery. And get a view from the trenches – bench and bar perspectives – on how e-discovery impacts your practice, and your clients and their businesses, and how you can get out ahead of the curve.
Discussion will include the Proposed MN E-Discovery rules, Opinion 22, Ethics Rules 4.4(b) and 1.1, and ABA Opinion 11-460.
