among members of the Minnesota State Bar Association
Not all lawyers admitted to practice in Minnesota are members of the Minnesota State Bar Association. But most are. Membership in the bar association is one sign of a lawyer's dedication to the profession and its ideals.
Search Tips
- You may enter just the beginning pieces of what you're looking for, instead of the full text. (ie., "Johns" for "Johnson", as
it will return both "Johnson" and "Johnsen").
- However, you must enter at least three characters in whatever field you want searched.
- The fewer fields you can use to narrow down your search, the better.
Searches work better with "just enough" information than with more.
- If more than ten lawyers' records meet your search's requirements, only ten will be displayed at a time. They will be chosen at random.
- In some zip codes, e.g., downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul, there are hundreds of lawyers. Please choose your search criteria carefully.
- You are limited to five searches per session. (A new session begins only if you close your browser and restart it.)
The program searches a copy of the MSBA's
membership database.
It excludes members who have asked not to be listed.
